Via-ferrata Près Des Cévennes Et Montpellier Avec Les Moniteurs D'entre2nature

Via-ferrata of Thaurac is closed

The via ferrata of Thaurac, which is very close to the Demoiselles cave in Saint-Bauzille de Putois, is once again closed until 31 March 2017. Of course, this ban on access to the via- Ferrata is done for good reasons. Indeed, as the works took place from September 12 to November 30, 2016, those running until March 31, 2017 will be done in order to secure the place against the fall of blocks of stone.

At the request of the department of Hérault this decree was issued on 23 February 2017 and is displayed in the commune of Saint-Bauzille de Putois. You can find it on the site of the town hall of the commune. Follow this link: close via-ferrata Thaurac.

So, it will be necessary to wait until the beginning of spring to be able to benefit again from this sublime via-ferrata of varied and atypical character. Long crossings on monkey bridge, zipline and other air and underground passages. Hopefully the work will not be delayed (or at least not too).

We will keep you informed of its re-opening, in order to benefit from thrills in an idyllic setting above the gorges of the Hérault.
